Ms. Carla E. Santamaria-Seña specializes in Civil, Criminal, and Intellectual Property Law. She provides expert advice on marriage, family, contracts, property, succession and security transactions.
Ms. Santamaria-Seña also practices Mining and Environmental Law, assisting clients on environmental issues before government regulatory agencies and the courts.
She is the Firm’s Senior Partner for Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution with close to three decades of experience in handling civil, commercial and criminal cases. She has extensive expertise in commercial and construction arbitration representing clients before the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission, the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center and the PCHC (Philippine Clearing House Commission) Arbitration Committee.
Ms. Santamaria-Seña is also experienced in the prosecution of patent and trademark registration, as well as in litigating trademark opposition cases before the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines.
Prior to founding KMAPS Law, Ms. Santamaria-Seña was a Senior Partner at one of the oldest law firms in the Philippines, where she concurrently served as its Deputy Head of Litigation and Head of the IP Department.
